iPhone:
Go to Settings. Select Wi-Fi. Under Networks, select “ClearviewGuest”. A splash screen will appear requiring a username and password. You will use the same credentials you’d use to log in to your desktop. Your username will be your first initial and your last name, NOT your email address (ex: John Smith = jsmith). Once connected, hit “Done” on the splash page. You are now connected to the ClearviewGuest network. You will need to log-in once every week.
*Note: Select ClearviewGuest again and make sure “Auto-Join” is turned on.

Wi-Fi vs Cellular:
Your phone connects to the internet in two main ways: Wi-Fi and Cellular. If you are not logged in to Clearview’s Wi-Fi (ClearviewGuest), then your phone is relying on your cellular reception to access the internet. Cellular reception on campus is not managed by Clearview. Rather, it is managed by your service provider (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.). For best results, we recommend you make sure you’re connected to Clearview’s Wi-Fi, as cellular reception on campus is less reliable.
*Note: SMS text messages require cellular data. If you have trouble sending texts, it is usually due to poor cellular reception, which Clearview has no control over.
